Polished Agate nodules

Item Description

A showy, old-time pair of sliced and polished agate nodules with decidely different form from Brazil. The striking curved nodule has fantastic "eyes" and dense rich banding of oranges, yellows, browns and grays. The blocky nodule has only one large "eye" dramatically accented with the colorful banding. From an East Coast collection and undoubtedly older material, but no proof. Mass is 180 and 292 grams respectively.
