Item Description

A very rich and showy specimen from this famous Nevada locale, justly famous for a broad array of secondary copper minerals. Sparkly, deep green-black, clinoclase crystals, an uncommon copper arsenate, and crusts of teal-blue chalcophyllite make for a colorful and attractive combination. Ex Kay Robertson Collection with no number, indicating she bought it in about 2002-2007. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
