Item Description

Isolated, very sharp, metallic-gray tetrahedrite crystals with a striking and beautiful light variable iridescence are aesthetically set in a vug on the hefty quartz and pyrite matrix. The tetrahedrite crystals reach 1.3 cm on this very fine piece and are nicely complimented by the bright, brassy pyritohedrons. The piece has several fine display views. Ex Francesco Bedogne Collection # 1768. Dr. Bedogne, 1942-2012, was a well-known Italian mineralogist, prolific author, field collector and collector.
