Smoky Quartz w/ phantom (Zerfass Coll.)

Item Description

A striking sharp phantom is clearly visible within this gem smoky quartz crystal from an unknown Swiss locale. The 9.5 cm crystal and smaller sidecar crystal are mostly water-clear, have rich smoky color and supremely glassy and lustrous faces. The stepped-growth on the prism faces adds much pizzazz. Complete all-around, the large smoky is pristine. A classic and choice Swiss smoky from the Paul Zerfass Collection # 697. The piece has mulitple fine display views. MUCH BETTER in person, the very high and glassiness made photography difficult.
