This less well-known underground mine is one of the largest nickel deposits in the world. World-class millerites have come from here and this is an outstanding and rich example. Super dense sprays of bright brassy needles, to about 2.0 cm cover the matrix on this showy and excellent 360-degree miniature. The mine opened in 1971 and few specimens of this quality have reached the market. Charlie Key loved it and had an Aussie millerite suite in his collection drawers. Ex Charlie Key Collection.
