Item Description

Flambeau chalcocites from the famous mid-1990s finds are a US classic. This sculptural two-sided plate has a striking arborescent look with the elongated crystals, that reach over 2.0 cm. Beautiful areas of subtle multi-hued iridesecence highlight this excellent miniature specimen of solid chalcocite. Many of the crystals have magenta and peacock-blue iridescence. A highly representative and excellent example. Common 20 years ago, specimens are seldom on market today.
