Item Description

Sheet or leaf silver is VERY RARE from the well-known extinct White Pine Mine, the ony mine in famed Copper Country that produced from the Nonsuch Shale and not from basalts or conglomerates. This is a scuptural, nicely burnished wafer-thin sheet nicely accented with a streak of malachite on one side. This was the last Copper Country mine to close in 1995. 3 grams mass. A MUST for the locality or species collector.
