Item Description

A perfectly symmetrical 4.8 cm Thomsonite ball composed of radiating acicular tan crystals with the surface texture of fine-grained sandpaper aesthetically rests on another ball and bladed heulandite matrix. Thomsonite is rare relative to other Zeolite Group species from Maharashtra and this is an excellent combination. These came from an important 2005 find from the Aurangabad District during well digging and the balls reached up to 7.0 cm. A very showy and excellent 360-degree specimen from the find.
