"Electric blue" Azurite on Malachite after Azurite

Stunning "electric-blue" color on this very fine and aesthetic miniature azurite and malachite from the well-known finds at the now very famous Milpillas Mine. The killer electric-blue color azurite overgrowth is on top of the malachite pseudomorphs after sharp lozenge-shaped azurite crystals. The impressive large crystal is 2.4 cm and you can plainly see the underlying pseudos beneath the intense blue overgrowth. These are certainly world-class azurites, some say the finest, and this is a most excellent example. Fairly valued at $1200-1500. Not too many of this super style around anymore. They have all but disappeared.
