Desirable gemmy willemite from Franklin. Sections of beautiful gemmy apple-green willemite cover much of the front of the tapered matrix wedge of nearly solid foliated granular willemite! A striking, 2.0 cm vug on one edge hosts both gemmy apple-green and yellow-orange willemite, adding much pizzazz. Black franklinite both sides is a typical and contrasting accessory to this fine specimen. The neon-green of the willemite in the fluorescent shots comfirms the piece is nearly solid willemite. Choice, very rich and excellent willemite ore from the David Burgess Collection and comes with a Gerstmann's label, well-known Franklin collectors and dealer with a private museum, dating from the early 1960s to 1980.
