Item Description

Two dramatic razor sharp tapered spearpoint blades highlight this striking and rare gypsum specimen from these famous old sulfur mines, noted for fine gypsum specimens. The gypsum is water-clear with some frontal cleavage faces have striking stepped-growth and side faces having satin luster. The sparse sulfur inclusions are a classic accessory and contrast. Specimens from these mines are RARELY on the market and this is a very fine and artistic example form the H.R. McBroom and Allen Dillwith Collections.
