Large Calcite xl (Nowakowski & Burgess Coll.)

Item Description

This Township is noted for excellent calcite specimens and this is an impressive large and sharp rhomb. The translucent tan rhomb with satin luster faces has fabulous interior cross-hatching on all sides, which the back lighting highlights. A bonus is that the rear of the crystal shows, that this is a penetration-twin calcite! Slight bruising on the upper termination certainly has minimal impact to the overall very high quality of this large calcite crystal. Rare in this size and quality.
