Item Description

Volborthite is an uncommon hydrated copper vanadate secondary mineral found in the oxidized zones of vanadium-bearing hydrothermal deposits. It is very rare from the famous and historic mines at Pribram. This is an exceptional specimen with olive-green crusts richly covering all sides of the blocky matrix. Although it occurs other places, RARE on the market in this richness, size and quality, from this classic and important old locality. Ex Josef Vajdak Collection, a noted Czech specialist.
