Barite specimens attributable to the El Solar Mine in the historic Taxco silver district are RARE and this is an outstanding example. This is a gorgeous and pristine, two-sided arborescent cluster of stacked, super-glassy, transparent barite blades with beautiful blue-gray color. Very choice and rare Taxco barite, as even the mine level is known.
