Item Description

An aesthetic and substantial cluster of intergrown hematite iron roses from Ouro Preto. The sharp, hexagonal, splendent dark metallic-gray parallel-growthg plates are enhanced by the contrasting rust-brown iron oxide coatings. The front is pristine and the out-of-sight back is lightly bruised. It displays well without aid. Classic and excellent two-sided hematite from the Dr. Barratt Phillips Collection.
