Item Description

A cute and sculptural 360-degree thumbnail cluster of translucent, bulbous, yellowish-tan, smithsonite botryoids with satin luster from the famous mines at Santa Eulalia. That's blue tack on the base of the piece. Ex Kay Robertson Collection # 12833 and acquired in the early 1990s. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record). Classic and showy Santa Eulalia smithsonite.
