A gorgeous, exquisite heart-shaped carved gem tourmaline from the famous Himalaya Mine. This superb piece of jewelry art has beautiful form and classic, highly desirable rich "Himalaya pink" color saturation. At 62.81 carats, this would make a superb drop for a pendant on a necklace. This is old very high-grade carving rough from Bill Larson, when he owned the Himalaya Mine. It came to us in a small collection of California oddities and artifacts, from back in the day, and was purchased from Larson and PALA INTL in the 1980s. Market value today is $100/carat or $6800 for tourmaline of this quality. It is historic and beautiful!
