Wardite, a rare Na-Al phosphate, is very uncommon from this obscure pegmatite in the Taquaral, Minas Gerais area. Sculptural large combination specimens with wardite crystals on sharp, well-formed quartz crystals are RARE. Clusters of sharp, tetragonal white wardite crystals, to 5 mm, are scattered on the striking and impressive plate of stacked, parallel-growth, lustrous and translucent, terminated quartz crystals. A rare, exceptional and desirable large combination from the Matioli Collection.
