Description:A few years ago there were some inds of the relatively rare Zeolite species Thomsonite in India. Most people are probably familiar with these rather smooth spheres that are found on basalt. They don't look like Thomsonite that I've seen from any other locality. This is a great display specimen from the same locality featuring good quality spheres of Thomsonite measuring up to 1.6 cm across sitting on bladed off-white Stilbite crystals, with a very thin layer of matrix. A beautiful display piece of one of the rarer Zeolite species out there.
