Item Description

A few years ago, a local digger in Colorado found some very interesting Pyrite specimens in the State Bridge area in Colorado. Typically, the specimens from this area are found in shale, but these specimens formed semi-spherical aggregates. The Pyrite crystals on the specimen are rather lustrous, with sharp, golden, metallic faces and beautiful cuboctahedral form. You can see that the crystals formed in semi-rounded pseudo-botryoidal groups. A unique specimen to add to a Pyrite collection or a Colorado suite.
