Item Description

When these sepcimens first started coming out in the early 200s, they really made an impression on me. Their combined quality and form made them some of the most interesting Gypsum specimens extant. The pieces formed in a calcium clay/sediment, and most of them are complete "floaters" with no point of attachment whatsoever. This specimen consists of a centralized "ball" of comprising excellent quality, razor-sharp, golden-brown color blaes of Gypsum which play host to a handful of VERY GEMMY, soft golden-yellow color "fish-tail" twins measuring up to 2.1 cm which are aesthetically shooting out the center. The material is typically very fluorescent as well ! Another important aspect of this specimen is that it is NOT repaired, which makes a difference with this material, as many were glued back together. These are certainly considered Canadian "classics" and good quality specimens are few and far between on the market now.
