Brightly burnished silver wires and spinel-twins, accented with gray acanthite richly and aesthetically cover all three sides of the etched calcite matrix on this very rich, showy and sculptural specimen from this ancient Spanish silver mine. Not known as a specimen producer, collecting in the late 1990s and 2000s recovered some outstanding pieces, such as this. Striking backbone- and rib-shaped clusters of spinel-twins and dense nests of elongated spinel-twins and wires dramatically cover all three sides of this impressive fish-shaped specimen.
