Item Description

This old abandoned nickel mine is the Type Locality for two rare nickel minerals, Hellyerite and Heazlewoodite. Blue crusts richly cover one face and are scattered on other faces of the blocky miniature matrix on this rich and excellent example of the RARE hydrated Ni-carbonate. Ex Frank Patania Collection.
