Item Description

Before China, these were some of the best Stibnites to hit the market in a long time. This specimen hosts a few highly lustrous, sharp, silvery sword shaped crystals of Stibnite forming a very aesthetic crystal spray which is highlighted by dozens of smaller secondary crystals "bursting" out in all directions. No damage that I can honestly see with the naked eye, save the base where it detached from the pocket wall. A great classic Boilvian Stibnite specimen. This specimen came out around 35 years ago (early 1980s) when there was a large find of some superb Stibnites from this mine. From the collection of Richard A. Kosnar - the namesake for the phosphate species Kosnarite.
