Large Manganoan Calcite (New Find - fluorescent!)

An impressive and sculptural large manganoan calcite specimen from a NEW FIND at this remote now-famous mine. It has striking neon-orange fluorescence. The partially doubly terminated, very sharp hexagonal, lustrous, translucent, pretty pastel-pink crystal has a very interesting interior checkerboard pattern and side car crystal, that adds pizzazz. Essentially pristine. Contacts on two sides, where other crystals once lay, have trivial damage. The attachment is mostly at the base of this striking piece.
