Classic and attractive calcite from this well-known Pennsylvania quarry. A 4.5 x 4.3 cm complex rich golden calcite twin is aesthetically set on a bed of smaller crystals. Some of the satin luster faces on the translucent crystal are remarkably accented with stepped-growth or scalloped features adding much pizzazz. Nearly pristine, with only one gentle bruise on a top edge. Every turn presents a different perspective to this very fine 360-degree calcite from the Ted Bartels Collection.
