Item Description
Sparkly pastel-pink spherical aggregates of tiny rhodochrosite crystals cover both sides of the large sculptural undulating two-sided rib on this showy and excellent specimen from this well-known Peru district. Raura is better known for excellent stibnite specimens. Most of these rhodos came out in the 1970s, with very few since. Rich and uncommon rhodochrosite from the W.S. Logan Collection # X104.5.
