I have to believe that India is the only place in the world that produces Epistilbite of a size and quality that could produce a gem like this. As a matter of fact, it's noteworthy to think of the size of the rough that actually yielded a stone this size, as Epistilbite typically forms in thin blades comprising radial "sprays", so there was a good sized chunk that somebody had the vision to facet into this impressive stone. Now, this gem is not eye clean, but it hardly matters when you have a gem weighing in over 4 carats! This is the first faceted stone of Epistilbite that we've ever had to offer in all the years we've been doing online auctions.
