Description:Tourmaline is beloved by collectors for its wide range of vivid colors. It is considered rare for Tourmaline from any locality to produce yellow or orange colored stones. Recently in Namibia there was a find of interestingly colored Tourmalines. The rich hues seen in these gems makes these stones very enticing for collectors. This particular gem is a beautiful gem with a lovely greenish color and slight gold and yellow highlights depending upon the angle at which the stone is viewed. The stone has a "Round Brilliant" cut. The stone is nearly eye clean, which is remarkable for a Tourmaline, as the material is a classified as a Type-3 gem, which means that inclusions are almost always present and are generally accepted by collectors and dealers alike. It seems that these stones have quickly dried up from the market, and they are retailing for fairly high numbers with some dealers, so don't miss out on this fantastic Tourmaline of an uncommon color with beautiful cutting. A beautiful stone that truly looks better in person, as the highlights really do not show up very well in the photos.
