Item Description

Exceptional Baryte specimen from Los Angeles County in California. The two nobs of matrix here are covered with hundreds upon hundreds of gemmy, beautifully formed blades of Baryte that average about 1 cm across. The condition of the piece is very good, and the aesthetics are really eye-catching. I have not seen a Baryte from any of the locations in the Palos Verdes Hills that is comparable. This was #3405 in Kay's collection.
