Tourmaline in Quartz

Item Description

The Himalaya Mine has a long and storied history when it comes to its Tourmalines. This miniature features gemmy and lustrous pink Tourmalines intergrown with a single, translucent to gemmy Quartz crystal that has a very good termination and the most minor bit of edgewear. The Tourmalines are both along the surface and embedded with the Quartz, creating a nice aesthetic, and interest. The featured single Tourmaline has about 1 cm exposed. This was #68 in Kay's collection, and was purchased over a half-century ago.
