These Calcites are a favorite among collectors and dealers, and they are certainly some of the most iconic examples of the species to come out in 25 years. These beautiful soft golden color rhombs are easily recognizable with their fantastic form and superior gemminess. This gorgeous miniature specimen features superb, satiny, WATER CLEAR, gorgeous yellow color twinned rhombohedra of Calcite beautifully sitting on matrix. The largest crystal measures 2.9 cm. Fine condition on the top / display side with only minor imperfections, and a small bit of a separation mark on the back where it detached from the pocket wall. You just don't see many of these on the market anymore and, this one is a great quality representation of these now classic Calcites. Valued at $950.
