Here we have one of the great old classics from Mexico! Boleite is a very rare potassium, lead, silver, copper halide and is one of the great beautiful rarities in the mineral world - highly sought after by collectors. The species has been known since the late 1800s, but there honestly is only place in the world were superb specimens were found. This piece is a RARE MATRIX specimen of Boleite featuring not one but SEVERAL fine, sharp, lustrous, translucent, rich blue color cubic crystals measuring up to 6 mm. This piece is from the type locality and great crystals of Boleite are almost impossible to find in today's market, especially on matrix! Valued at $1,400 in our inventory.
