Item Description

These are some of the most distinctive and eye-catching specimens from the now famous De'an Mine. I love these Fluorites as the combination of the uniquely shaped crystals and beautiful colors is unlike any other Fluorite from any world locality. This small cabinet specimen features a notably and unusually curved Fluorite octahedral group which measures 3.7 cm across sitting on a layer of crystalline translucent green Fluorite matrix. A bit of white massive Quartz can be seen around the edge of the main Fluorite. The strange habit of the main Fluorite crystal is certainly eye-catching, and when it is backlit, you can see a lovely mix of colors with a wonderful lilac hue at the core and lovely blue highlighted edges. Excellent condition, save the periphery where it was removed from the pocket wall. Valued at $1,000 in the inventory.
