A fantastic 10 piece set of matrix Gold specimens that were collected on the dumps of the Little Johnnie Mine in Leadville. It's very difficult to find good Colorado Gold specimens on the market, and pieces from Leadville are no exceptionl. Most Colorado Golds offerred for sale are almost purchased immediately. Every piece in this set features either crystalline, "leaf" or skeletal Gold on Quartz matrix, and in some cases, you can see multiple Gold habits on the same piece. The close up photos of the Golds were takend with a Canon 65mm MP-E macro lens to better show the detail. You can have a lot of fun inspecting each piece with a loupe or under the microscope. It's a great deal for the starting price, because you're getting a lot of bang for you buck here. Classic and nearly impossible material to find on the market.
