Fluorite (GEMMY beautiful blue crystals)

Item Description

An impressive, GEMMY Fluorite crystal group of this classic material. The piece is in great shape on the display side showing superb cubic form with slight dodecahedral modifications on the edges which have a stepped growth. It is in great condition overall with only VERY minor imperfections in a few places on the front lower edge, and it's obviously not complete on the back where it was removed from the pocket wall. It has slight phantoms and is very gemmy with a GORGEOUS BLUE COLOR that looks best in sunlight. The color is a bit more subdued in indoor lighting, but it looks amazing in the sun. A very showy, fine quality and impressive display specimen of this classic and beloved material. These specimens don't get the attention they deserve as they compare very well against equal specimens from southern Illinois. The piece comes with a FREE custom lucite base.
