Spodumene var. Kunzite with Elbaite and Lepidolite

Impressive and aesthetic, this large combination piece is from the famous mines at Paprok. The 11 cm Kunzite blade is a pretty pink with just a hint of lilac, and the upper half of the crystal is quite gemmy. It stands perfectly upright on the matrix, and just below the crystal is a bed of green Elbaites, which in turn are decorated with lavendar Lepidolite. A very fine combination piece with an uncommonly good Kunzite on matrix.
