Item Description

A really attractive and showy specimen of shimmering, velvety, deep blue-green Wavellite botryoids from the famous de Linde Pits of Arkansas. There are dozens upong dozens of COMPLETE unbroken spheres of Wavellite which fortunately formed on the concave part of the pocket so they weren't pressed against the other side and broken upon removal. Despite some roughness around the periphery, the piece is remarkably complete on the display side with great form. Rarely does one see so many individual "balls" packed into a specimen like this, especially with this many complete spheres. Classic material, and certainly some of the most beloved Wavellite in the world for color. Valued at $1500 for the coverage of mostly undamaged spheres. The piece comes with a FREE custom lucite base.
