Item Description

Beautiful, sharp, well-formed, lustrous, pagoda shaped crystals of Hausmannite with reddish Andradite for a really nice touch. The largest Hausmannite group measures 1.3 cm. This is a terrific thubmanil and better in person. A wonderful display piece for anybody who collects South African material. Ex Charlie Key personal collection. Charlie is arguably the most sucessful dealer of the second half of the 20th century, along with being the namesake for TWO mineral species (Keyite and Ludlockite).
