Item Description

Here we have a lovely large miniature / small cabinet specimen of these well-known deep green Apatites from the famous find at the Sapo mine in 2004. These crystals have a unique appearance with compressed prismatic form and deep greenish-black color, but are nearly colorless on the edges. Beautiful, very well-crystallized, lustrous off-white Albite plays host to the Apatites. Very showy, three-dimensional and the piece sits beautifully on its own without the aid of a base or clay! The largest Apatite measures 2.1 cm. No damage and fine quality. Priced at $1,800. It appears that Sapo may never produce these incredible specimens of these unusual Apatites again.
