Item Description

A beautiful thumbnail display specimen of the well-known Apophyllites (now called Hydroxyapophyllite-(K)) from the famous Fairfax quarry in Centreville, Virginia. The piece is a sharp, well-formed, white to colorless, tabular with decent translucency, luster and crystal form. Hard to find on the market today, especially in good thumbnails. No damage on the display side. These are arguably the best quality Apophyllites from the United States.
