Item Description
Some of the best example of Prehnite from the United States are the famous specimens from the historic Prospect Park Quarry. This localy is not only known for it's beautiful specimens, but the quality of the Prehnite is fine enough that it yields attractive gemstones as well. This set features a specimen of radiating botryoidal groups of "water green" colored Prehnite on minor matrix along side a very nice, silky, "Emerald" cut gemstone with excellent color and consistency. Classic material from this now closed quarry in New Jersey, and some of the best facet grade Prehnite around.
