Item Description

A rarely seen historic crystallized Copper specimen from the lesser known Kausersteimel Mine. The piece features hundreds of small, distinct, crystals in an arborescent form free of matrix. The piece is almost a complete "floater" as it's crystallized all the way around and looks beautiful from all directions. You can see from the close-up photos that there are plenty of spots on the piece to view the piece under magnification. The classic old patina gives the piece an antique appearance. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#6747). The piece comes with a couple old labels including ond from the collection of Kurt Scholer and Wolfram Roemer Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
