Item Description
An excellent, rare and showy combination specimen from this obscure Swiss locale. A textbook, sharp, metallic, 4 mm anatase is accompanied by numerous modified to flattened calcite rhombs, a single 4 mm, iron oxide-coated pyrite cube, all on quartz crystals. The matrix is a foliated gneiss. Material from this locale is very uncommon and this is a fine combination example from the Howard Belsky Collection. He had a large Alpine suite built in the 1970s-1980s
