Item Description

These fairly new and incredibly interesting pyrite concretions are some of the most unique specimens that I have seen from any locality. The small, sparkling, sharp, modified, metallic pyrite crystals have formed in amazingly concentric "rings" or "bands" on a flattened oval "sphere" of shale. The specimen resembles some kind of strange planet, and almost has an organic look to it. A very cool "floater" specimen and certainly unusual. Our Chinese source was able to come up with one more flat of this highly desirable and very unusual material.
