A "gem", this is a jewel-like 2.1 x 2.0 cm, complex, colorless, calcite rhomb. it is beautifully set in a very well-placed, 6.0 cm vug lined with smaller calcite crystals on a sculptural limestone matrix. This is a CLASSIC, very showy, OLD-TIMER from the famous Joplin Field of the Tri-State District. Ex University of Missouri and George Feist Collection # 2300.
