Acanthite

Item Description

This is an elegant, very bright small cabinet plate of Acanthite with great aesthetics. Quite a few of these came out in the mid-2000s, however, a limited amount were this good in terms of luster - in fact, 1 in 100 had this luster, or less. This lustrous piece consists of a wealth of bright Acanthite crystals from 3 mm to nearly 1 cm, from tip to tip of the octahedrons. The octahedrons are attractively stacked, especially the small tower at the back left. This is an elegant, dazzling specimen with nice composition. It stands out from so much of the rest, as brilliantly metallic compared to a usual dull look. Valued $2000-plus.
