Item Description
A cute, sculptural silver combination thumbnail from the famous mines at Batopilas. The arborescent shrub-like 360-degree specimen is composed of dense elongated silver crystal "branches" with a nice patina. Most of the crystal tips are covered with gray pseudo-cubic acanthite crystals and acanthite coating, giving the piece a striking blocky architectural look, adding contrast and much pizzazz. This is an excellent example of this RARE style of acanthite on silver from the Beaty Collection.
