Item Description

A very sculptural thumbnail of stacked, intergrown, highly lustrous, metallic-gray acanthite crystals from early-2000s finds at the famous Rayas Mine at Guanajuato, Mexico. The sharp crystals are highly modified on this aesthetic floater specimen. It looks great from both sides! The sharp large crystal at the top is next to the very elongated crystal on the front side, while the crystals are strongly hoppered on the backside. The scattered skeletal features and stepped-growth faces add much character. Choice and classic material from the Dave Stoudt Collection.
