Item Description

Lustrous, thin, prismatic, stark bluish-green colored crystals of Actinolite measuring up to 2.4 cm sitting on contrasting white talc matrix. An unusual and rare reference piece from this former crushed stone quarry. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#4620). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Velt" November-December 2017).
